Refund and Returns Policy

At AnnGhar, we are committed to delivering high-quality dry fruits, nuts, seeds, and healthy food products. Due to the perishable nature of food items, our return and refund policy is designed to comply with applicable Indian consumer protection laws while ensuring product safety and quality.


Return Eligibility

As food products are consumable items, we generally do not accept returns once an order has been delivered.

However, returns or replacements may be accepted in the following situations:

  • Product received is damaged during transit.
  • Incorrect product delivered.
  • Product packaging is tampered with upon delivery.
  • Product received is expired or unfit for consumption.
  • Item is missing from the order.

To be eligible for a return or replacement:

  • The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • The product must remain unused and in its original packaging.
  • Clear photographs or videos of the product and packaging must be provided.
  • The order number must be shared with our customer support team.

Non-Returnable Products

For hygiene and food safety reasons, the following products cannot be returned:

  • Opened food products.
  • Used or partially consumed products.
  • Products returned without original packaging.
  • Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery.
  • Products purchased during special promotions, clearance sales, or discounted offers unless damaged or defective.

Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, tampered, or incorrect product:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide:
    • Order Number
    • Product Images
    • Packaging Images
    • Unboxing Video (if available)

After verification, AnnGhar may:

  • Issue a replacement product, or
  • Issue a refund to the original payment method.

Refund Policy

Refunds may be approved under the following circumstances:

  • Product unavailable after order placement.
  • Damaged product verified by our quality team.
  • Wrong item delivered.
  • Order cancelled before dispatch.
  • Payment deducted but order not confirmed.

Cancellation Policy

Before Dispatch

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting our customer support team.

Eligible cancellations will receive a full refund.

After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

Customers may refuse delivery only if the package appears visibly damaged or tampered with.


Replacement Policy

Eligible products may be replaced instead of refunded in cases such as:

  • Damaged products
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Incorrect product delivered

Replacement requests are subject to stock availability.


Shipping Charges

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was caused by AnnGhar.
  • For approved replacements due to our error, return shipping costs (if applicable) will be borne by AnnGhar.

Quality Assurance

All AnnGhar products undergo:

  • Multi-stage cleaning
  • Quality inspection
  • Hygienic packaging
  • Freshness checks

As natural food products may vary slightly in size, color, texture, or appearance, such natural variations shall not be considered defects.


Consumer Rights

This policy is intended to comply with applicable provisions of:

  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India)
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable Indian laws.
